Yacht charter in the Western Mediterranean has been an established business for about a century and the practice shows in both the volume and the sophistication of the region’s charter industry.

From May through October the Mediterranean coastline is ringed with yachts whose guests are either seeking seasonal respite from congested cities, or who are intrigued with the idea of visiting the storied cities of antiquity from a more relaxing venue. Still another reason to charter the Mediterranean is to have a base of operations for events such as the Cannes Film Festival, the Monaco Grand Prix, the La Nioulargue and a host of other fashionable events where the sport is to see and be seen.
